West Virginia High School Basketball - Lincoln ripped by Robert C. Byrd

The Robert C. Byrd Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Lincoln Cougars to 34 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sissonville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Robert C. Byrd will meet a Indians team coming off a 52-40 league win over Scott (Madison, WV). The Indians record now stands at 8-8.

The Cougars (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Colts enter the Big Ten contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Philip Barbour triumphed over Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV), 53-43, in a league contest.
