Virginia High School Basketball - Millbrook knocked off by Sherando

The Sherando Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Millbrook Pioneers to 38 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fauquier for a Northwestern contest on Monday, January 30. Sherando will battle a Falcons team coming off a 39-23 league win over Liberty (Bealeton, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-16.

The Pioneers (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Bealeton, VA). The Eagles enter the Northwestern contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Liberty was defeated by Fauquier (Warrenton, VA), 39-23, in a league contest.
