Virginia High School Basketball - Sherando nips Millbrook

February 17, 2023: Winchester, VA 22603

Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sherando upgrades its record to 21-3 on the campaign.

Next up, the Pioneers play the Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Millbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 20-6 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 21-2 record after their 64-51 league win over Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA).
