Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) and the host South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), saw North Side's basketball squad hold off South Hills by a tally of 29-26.

With the victory, North Side improves its record to 15-14 on the campaign. The Steers host Everman (Everman, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-17. Everman won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Scorpions confront the Wyatt Chaparrals (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. South Hills will attempt to improve on its 4-20 season record.
