The North Side Steers basketball team scored 37 points and held the host South Hills Scorpions to 30 in the Steers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Steers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paschal for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. North Side will meet a Panthers team coming off a 33-28 non-league loss to Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
The Scorpions (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX). The Parrots enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Polytechnic was nudged by Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX), 30-16, in a non-league contest.
