The Windthorst Trojans basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Olney Cubs to 24 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Petrolia for a 2A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Windthorst will battle a Pirates team coming off a 56-47 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 19-11.

The Cubs (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Archer City (Archer City, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region II District 9 contest with a 4-19 record. In their last contest, Archer City was routed by Nocona (Nocona, TX), 66-26, in a league contest.
