With the victory, Walker Valley improves its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN) to confront the Hustlin' Tigers in a 4A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hustlin' Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Howard Tech lost 70-30 in their recent league challenge against McMinn County (Athens, TN)

Next up, the Owls confront the Cleveland Blue Raiders (Cleveland, TN) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Ooltewah will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Blue Raiders come into the challenge with a 20-8 record after their 63-28 league win over Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN).
