Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN), 56-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Walker Valley upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Notre Dame lost 56-52 in their recent non-league bout against Calhoun (Calhoun, GA)

Next up, the Owls play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Ooltewah will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
