The Waterloo Christian Regents basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Tripoli Panthers to 45 in the Regents league triumph on Friday.

The Regents now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nashua-Plainfield for a non-league match on Monday, January 30. Waterloo Christian will meet a Huskies team coming off a 60-45 non-league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-12.

With the defeat, Tripoli moves to 1-15 on the year. The Panthers host Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, January 30. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 4-12. Wapsie Valley lost 63-34 in their recent non-league match against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
