Virginia High School Basketball - Galax winner over Grayson County

The Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) basketball felled the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 50-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Maroon Tide (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Fort Chiswell went down by Auburn (Riner, VA), 52-32, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Bland County for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Grayson County will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 39-27 non-league win over Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Bears record now stands at 13-5.
