Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA), 38-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Granby upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Comets travel to Norcom (Portsmouth, VA) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Norcom won 42-37 in their recent non-league bout against Norview (Norfolk, VA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Manor will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
