Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA), 42-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Manor upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Maury (Norfolk, VA) to clash with the Commodores in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Commodores go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Maury lost 63-38 in their recent non-league bout against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)

Next up, the Comets clash with the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Granby will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 40-39 non-league loss to Norview (Norfolk, VA).
