The Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), 65-47 in Friday's league test.

The Navigators (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights go into the test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Peninsula Catholic notched a victory over Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA), 47-45, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian School for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31.
