The Hampton Roads Academy Navigators basketball team (Newport News, VA), was toppled 43-35 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA)

The Lions now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host The New Community School for a battle on Friday, January 6. Veritas School will confront a Sabers team coming off a 40-25 non-league loss to Yeshiva of Virginia (Richmond, VA). The Sabers record now stands at 0-2.

The Navigators (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Ambassadors come into the battle with a 6-1 record.
