New Mexico High School Basketball - Cliff thwarts Quemado

The Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cliff, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM), 56-45 in Saturday's league test.

The Cowboys/Cowgirls (15-1) will now prepare for their test against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The SonBlazers go into the A District 2 test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Mesilla Valley Christian School went down by Magdalena (Magdalena, NM), 47-29, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Reserve for a A District 2 test on Thursday, February 1.
