In Saturday's non-league outing, the Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) basketball squad edged the visiting Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY), by a count of 52-51.
The Flyers (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 19-1 record. In their last outing, George Rogers Clark held off Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY), 73-56, in a league outing.
