With the victory, Franklin County improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Flyers host Western Hills (Frankfort, KY) to play the Wolverines in a District 41 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 4-9.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Moore Mustangs (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Scott County will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 63-61 non-league loss to Boyle County (Danville, KY).
