The Powder River County Hawks basketball team (Broadus, MT), was toppled 64-56 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Garfield County Mustangs (Jordan, MT)

The Mustangs now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry for a C District 4 battle on Friday, February 2. Garfield County will confront a Terriers team coming off a 46-41 non-league loss to Nashua (Nashua, MT). The Terriers record now stands at 3-11.

The Hawks (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Carter County (Ekalaka, MT). The Bulldogs come into the C District 4 battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Carter County was toppled by Powder River County (Broadus, MT), 62-60, in a league battle.
