Garfield County Mustangs (Jordan, MT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Powder River County Hawks (Broadus, MT), 55-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Garfield County upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Carter County (Ekalaka, MT) to clash with the Bulldogs in a C District 4 bout on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Carter County won 51-50 in their recent non-league bout against Terry (Terry, MT)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Plevna Cougars (Plevna, MT) in a C District 4 bout, on Friday, February 9. Powder River County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 51-48 league win over Carter County (Ekalaka, MT).
