With the victory, Valley Central improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY) to confront the Dragons in a Section 9 Orange County II challenge on Monday, January 29. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Cornwall Central lost 53-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY)

Next up, the Gladiators confront the Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Goshen Central will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Bushmen come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 56-53 league win over Middletown (Middletown, NY).
