Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lincoln Lions (Jersey City, NJ), 66-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Union City upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Soaring Eagles host Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ) to clash with the Rams in a Hudson County - American bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Next up, the Lions clash with the Kearny Kardinals (Kearny, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Kardinals go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 60-48 non-league win over American History (Newark, NJ).
