South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY), 88-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Laurel upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Corbin (Corbin, KY) to play the Redhounds in a District 50 bout on Monday, January 29. The Redhounds go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Corbin won 56-44 in their recent league bout against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY) in a District 52 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Bell County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record.
