The Jaguars now possess a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prestonsburg for a District 58 battle on Friday, February 2. Floyd Central will battle a Blackcats team coming off a 71-37 non-league win over Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Blackcats record now stands at 9-8.

The Bobcats (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Shelby Valley prevailed over Floyd Central (Eastern, KY), 58-44, in a non-league battle.
