The Floyd Central Jaguars basketball team (Eastern, KY), was nudged 65-58 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY)

The Bobcats now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pike County Central for a non-league battle on Monday, December 18.

The Jaguars (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lyon County (Eddyville, KY). The Lyons come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Lyon County was nudged by Crittenden County (Marion, KY), 63-56, in a league battle.
