Nevada High School Basketball - Churchill County overwhelms Spring Creek

January 27, 2024: Spring Creek, NV 89815

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) and the host Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), saw Churchill County's basketball squad wallop Spring Creek by a tally of 46-25.

With the victory, Churchill County improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Greenwave host Lowry (Winnemucca, NV) to confront the Buckaroos in a 3A Northern - East challenge on Friday, February 2. The Buckaroos come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Lowry won 63-28 in their recent league challenge against Elko (Elko, NV)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) in a 3A Northern - East challenge, on Friday, February 2. Spring Creek will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Dust Devils come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 54-9 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV).
