Nevada High School Basketball - Churchill County crushes Spring Creek

January 6, 2024: Fallon, NV 89406

Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), 49-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Churchill County upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Greenwave travel to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV) to play the Buckaroos in a 3A Northern - East bout on Friday, January 12. The Buckaroos come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Lowry won 70-42 in their recent league bout against Elko (Elko, NV)

Next up, the Spartans play the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) in a 3A Northern - East bout, on Friday, January 12. Spring Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Dust Devils come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 65-19 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV).
