With the victory, Jal improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hagerman (Hagerman, NM) to play the Bobcats in a 2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Hagerman won 54-26 in their recent non-league challenge against New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM)

Next up, the Bears play the Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM) in a 2A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Cloudcroft will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 38-23 non-league win over Shiprock (Shiprock, NM).
