The Colchester Lakers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Vergennes Commodores to 29 in the Lakers league victory on Saturday.

The Lakers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middlebury for a Lake contest on Tuesday, January 30. Colchester will battle a Tigers team coming off a 38-29 non-league loss to Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT). The Tigers record now stands at 4-9.

The Commodores (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Milton (Milton, VT). The Yellowjackets come into the Lake contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Milton was routed by Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT), 48-29, in a league contest.
