The Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT) basketball crushed the visiting Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT), 50-24 in Monday's league test.
The Lakers (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Tigers go into the Lake test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Middlebury was trounced by Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT), 56-22, in a non-league test.
The Commodores now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Otter Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. Vergennes will encounter a Otters squad coming off a 50-23 league win over Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Otters record now stands at 2-16.
