New Mexico High School Basketball - Alamogordo fells Mayfield

January 27, 2025: Alamogordo, NM 88310

The Alamogordo Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Mayfield Trojans to 44 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now have a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Las Cruces for a 5A District 3 game on Thursday, January 30. Alamogordo will confront a Bulldawgs team coming off a 54-40 league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Mayfield falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Trojans host Gadsden (Anthony, NM) to confront the Panthers in a 5A District 3 game on Thursday, January 30. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 5-13. Gadsden lost 64-33 in their recent league game against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM)
