The Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) basketball crushed the host Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA), 73-52 in Monday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Carroll for a Laurel Highlands bout on Tuesday, January 28. Chestnut Ridge will play a Huskies team coming off a 87-64 league win over Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Bishop McCort falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Crushers travel to Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA) to play the Marauders in a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, January 31. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 12-3.
