Elverado Falcons (Elkville, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Egyptian Pharaohs (Tamms, IL), 56-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Elverado upgrades its record to 8-12 on the year. The Falcons travel to Dongola (Dongola, IL) to face the Demons in a South Egyptian match on Monday, February 3. The Demons enter the match with a record of 9-10.

The Pharaohs now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cairo for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Egyptian will face a Pilots squad coming off a 60-42 non-league loss to Thompsonville (Thompsonville, IL). The Pilots record now stands at 9-11.
