In Saturday's non-league test, the Elverado Falcons (Elkville, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Egyptian Pharaohs (Tamms, IL), by a score of 79-47.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) in a South Egyptian test, on Thursday, January 9. Elverado will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Redskins come into the test with a 1-10 record after their 75-68 league loss to Egyptian (Tamms, IL).

The Pharaohs (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Northside Baptist Christian (Mayfield, KY). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Northside Baptist Christian was routed by Egyptian (Tamms, IL), 72-55, in a non-league test.
