In Monday's league test, the Thacher Toads (Ojai, CA) basketball squad defeated the host Grace Lancers (Simi Valley, CA), by a final score of 56-41.
Next, the Toads clash with the Villanova Prep Wildcats (Ojai, CA) in a Frontier test, on Wednesday, January 29. Thacher will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-13 record after their 59-41 league loss to Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA).
The Lancers (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Beacon Hill (Camarillo, CA). The Gryphon come into the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Beacon Hill went down by San Fernando Valley Academy (Northridge, CA), 78-26, in a league test.
