Minnesota High School Basketball - Orono overwhelms Waconia

The Orono Spartans basketball team scored 98 points and limited the visiting Waconia Wildcats to 63 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now have a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Benilde-St. Margaret's for a AAA Section 6 game on Thursday, January 30.
With the loss, Waconia falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Chaska (Chaska, MN) to confront the Hawks in a AAAA Section 2 game on Thursday, January 30. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 7-9.
