In Monday's league contest, the visiting Harrison Hornets basketball team scored a good 44-34 win over the Beaverton Beavers.

The Hornets (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Spartans come into the Jack Pine contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Pinconning was topped by Bullock Creek (Midland, MI), 39-18, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Beavers battle the St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Beaverton will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Sharks come into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 34-30 non-league loss to Gladwin (Gladwin, MI).
