West Virginia High School Basketball - Bridgeport can't get by Preston

The Bridgeport Indians basketball squad (Bridgeport, WV), was nudged 53-49 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV)

With the victory, Preston advances its record to 4-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV) to meet the Eagles in a Big Ten battle on Wednesday, January 29. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 3-12. Robert C. Byrd lost 51-20 in their recent league battle against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV)

The Indians now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckhannon-Upshur for a Big Ten battle on Wednesday, January 29. Bridgeport will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 73-49 non-league loss to University (Morgantown, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-7.
