North Carolina High School Basketball - Jones routed by Pamlico County

The Pamlico County Hurricanes bounced the visiting Jones Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 60-11 in Monday's league outing.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) in a 1A/2A Coastal Plains outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Pamlico County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Seahawks enter the outing with a 10-4 record after their 63-32 league win over Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC).

The Trojans (1-13) will now prepare for their outing against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Devil Pups enter the 1A/2A Coastal Plains outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Lejeune was overwhelmed by Southside (Chocowinity, NC), 63-32, in a league outing.
