West Virginia High School Basketball - Winfield triumphant over Poca

January 27, 2025: Poca, WV 25159

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) and the host Poca The Dots (Poca, WV), observed Winfield's basketball team overwhelm Poca by a score of 69-20.

The Generals (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Indians come into the Cardinal challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Sissonville trounced Hoover (Clendenin, WV), 54-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the The Dots encounter the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV) in a Freelance challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Poca will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 39-34 league loss to Wahama (Mason, WV).
