In Monday's non-league contest, the host The Academy Wildcats basketball team scored a close 51-47 triumph over the Standley Lake Gators.
The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Forge Christian (Arvada, CO). The Fury go into the contest with a 3-1 record.
In their next game, the Gators battle the Dakota Ridge Eagles (Littleton, CO) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Standley Lake will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 48-21 league win over Conifer (Conifer, CO).
