Colorado High School Basketball - Standley Lake nips The Academy

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Standley Lake Gators basketball team scored a close 56-52 win over the The Academy Wildcats.
The Gators (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northfield (Denver, CO). The Nighthawks come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Northfield edged Gateway (Aurora, CO), 98-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. The Academy will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
