The Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) basketball knocked off the host Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN), 49-39 in Friday's league test.
The Irish (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Buffalo went down by Edina (Edina, MN), 64-58, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Prior Lake for a AAAA Section 2 test on Monday, January 31. Apple Valley will encounter a Lakers squad coming off a 72-66 non-league loss to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 5-12.
