The Rosemount Irish basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Apple Valley Eagles to 38 in the Irish league victory on Friday.

The Irish now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prior Lake for a AAAA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, March 1. Rosemount will battle a Lakers team coming off a 70-66 league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 9-16.

The Eagles (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last bout, Robbinsdale Cooper was crushed by Waconia (Waconia, MN), 60-53, in a non-league bout.
