New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque routs Manzano

January 28, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87112

In Saturday's league outing, the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 86-64.

The Bulldogs (5-15) will now prepare for their outing against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers go into the 5A District 5 outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Los Lunas smashed Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 63-30, in a league outing.

The Monarchs now hold a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Capital for a 5A District 5 outing on Wednesday, February 1. Manzano will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 71-55 league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-7.
