Georgia High School Basketball - Jefferson County tipped by Burke County

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Burke County Bears basketball team scored a tight 51-46 triumph over the Jefferson County Warriors.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Southeast Bulloch Yellowjackets (Brooklet, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 match, on Tuesday, January 31. Burke County will attempt to better on its 14-6 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 7-14 record after their 64-46 non-league win over Metter (Metter, GA).

With the defeat, Jefferson County moves to 6-15 on the year. The Warriors travel to East Laurens (East Dublin, GA) to meet the Falcons in a A D1 Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 31. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 10-8. East Laurens won 59-57 in their recent non-league match against West Laurens (Dexter, GA)
