The Burke County Bears basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Jefferson County Warriors to 47 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Augusta for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16.

The Warriors (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The War Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Jenkins County prevailed over Screven County (Sylvania, GA), 55-38, in a non-league contest.
