Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (North Little Rock, AR), 55-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cabot upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR) to play the Hurricane in a 6A Central bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Hurricane come into the bout with a record of 20-3. Jonesboro won 53-44 in their recent league bout against Central (Little Rock, AR)

Next up, the Charging Wildcats play the Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) in a 6A Central bout, on Tuesday, January 31. North Little Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 53-44 league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR).
