The Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) basketball knocked off the visiting Conant Orioles (Jaffrey, NH), 60-43 in Saturday's league test.
The Golden Eagles (13-0) will now prepare for their test against Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH). The Timberwolves go into the Division III test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Prospect Mountain notched a victory over Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH), 46-38, in a league test.
The Orioles now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hillsboro-Deering for a Division III test on Tuesday, January 31. Conant will encounter a Hillcats squad coming off a 63-28 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH). The Hillcats record now stands at 0-5.
