In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Gilford Golden Eagles basketball team scored a tight 54-52 triumph over the Conant Orioles.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 22. Gilford will attempt to move on its 19-0 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 63-59 non-league win over Campbell (Litchfield, NH).
With the defeat, Conant moves to 11-7 on the year.
