The Eureka Vandals basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Owyhee Braves to 34 in the Vandals league triumph on Saturday.
The Vandals now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDermitt for a 1A Eastern contest on Friday, February 3. Eureka will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-24 league loss to Carlin (Carlin, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-18.
The Braves (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jackpot (Jackpot, NV). The Jaguars enter the 1A Eastern contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Jackpot ran past Wells (Wells, NV), 44-34, in a league contest.
